2025 – 2026 Registration Information

Registration for the 2025-2026 season opened on May 1st, 2025. FVRA is the home association to all players living in the Langley and Aldergrove areas. If you live outside of these areas and have not played with FVRA within the past 3 consecutive seasons you need to register with your home association. Approval for cross-boundary registration must be granted by the catchment association, FVRA and Ringette BC before placement onto a Fraser Valley roster.

Please see Ringette BC – Player Release Policy for more information on player release policies.

Parents/guardians must complete their contact information when registering any players under 18 years of age on RAMP (phone# & email address) in order to be registered as a member of the Fraser Valley Ringette Association and have a vote at the annual association AGM held in April of each year.

Registration is completed online. Payment can be made via credit, cheque or e-transfer, there are 2 payment options; (a) full payment at time of registration or (b) payments in 3 equal installments (1st payment at time of registration, 2nd payment on July 15th, 3rd payment on August 15th). Full payment must be received prior to players first ice time/the start of the season.

The installment option is only available for registrations made on or before July 15th as full payment is due prior to players first ice time/the start of the season.

Important Registration Information

Anyone wishing to register after November 1st, please contact our registrar via email at registrar@fvringette.com for assistance.

Registration does not guarantee the player a spot on a team. While our common goal is to ensure that every player has a spot, if teams are full, players will be placed on a waitlist in the order their registration is complete.

To Register you will need:

  • BC health Care Card number
  • list of allergies or medications
  • email address
  • payment information

Full-time goalies: (U12 to Open) All Goalies with their own equipment, Save $200 off their registration fees from their division.

New player definition: player did not play ringette in BC in previous season (i.e. was not registered with Ringette BC).

Family discount: Save $50 for 3rd and 4th person in same family (youth or adult living at same residence) registering as a player

Mandatory fundraising commitment: FVRA will perform one or two Association wide fundraising events each year. The raffle ticket fundraiser is mandatory for each team, with a per family maximum of up to 2 participants.

Volunteer commitment: Each youth family (or Adult Athlete) is required to provide a minimum of 6 hours of volunteer time to support our association during our annual Spirit of Winter tournament or any additional tournaments or any other special events, such as Come Try Ringette or Community days. If a youth family (or Adult Athlete) does not wish to participate they may instead choose to pay the $300 volunteer bond to FVRA by October 31st. Members who do not completely fulfill their volunteer requirements and have not paid the volunteer bond will be assessed the $300 or a prorated fee based on the hours that they did complete before the end of the season. This fee must be paid before they can register for the upcoming season. Those who choose to volunteer as a coach, manager, executive member, or on the tournament committee, as a task coordinator are considered to have fulfilled their volunteer commitment.

Refund policy: In order to be eligible for a refund the individual must notify the Registrar in writing (e-mail or letter). All refunds will be assessed at a $25 administration fee. If FVRA has already paid the player’s BCRA fee ($125) this amount will also be deducted from the final refunded payment amount. Refunds (of fees paid) for players who withdraw will be prorated from the week the registrar has received notice in writing. The refund amount will be prorated over the 24-week season (less the administration fee and any BCRA fees paid). For example, if the player withdraws during the second week of the season they will be entitled to a refund of (24 – 2) = 22 / 24 = 92% of fees paid, less the $25 administration fee.

Assistance with Registration costs visit the KidSport website.

For insurance reasons, all players must be registered and have submitted their BCRA Waiver Form through E-Pact, before they will be allowed to go on the ice.
