• Tryouts are tentatively scheduled for August 21–24, 2025 at Langley Sportsplex.
• In alignment with Ringette BC’s policies, all Zone teams will be Female-Only or Male-Only.
• Where possible, Coaches for each Zone team will be appointed in advance of tryouts.
• Athletes selected for Team BC (U16AA/U19AA) will be allowed to double card with a Zone team, but this is optional, not mandatory. If you plan to try out for Team BC, please still submit your Expression of Interest.
• Please note: Submitting the Expression of Interest does not register you for Zone Tryouts, nor does it replace registration with your home association. This step helps us determine the number of Zone teams that can be formed and coaches needed in both the East and West this season.

Camp Overview:

• U10/U12:
  Focus on foundational skills including Power Skating, Ring Skills, and Dryland Training. A perfect prep for young players looking to level up.
• U14/U16:
  We’re offering two groups this year:
  • A Development Group focused on skill refinement and gameplay fundamentals
  • A High Performance Group for athletes aiming for elite-level competition, with intense training and elevated expectations

BCWG and CWG 2026 -2027

Ringette BC is excited to announce that the 2027 Canada Winter Games (CWG) will be held in Quebec.
Ringette competition will take place during the first week of competition from February 26th to March
4th, 2027. The full Games run from February 26th to March 15th, 2027. This prestigious competition
provides an unparalleled opportunity for athletes to showcase their talent on a national stage. Selected
athletes will represent Ringette BC as members of Team BC, a high-performance group committed to
achieving excellence.

Athlete Eligibility & Selection:
The CWG is a U20 event. Team BC athletes will be selected exclusively from athletes participating in
Ringette BC’s Excellence Ringette Program during the 2025/2026 and 2026/2027 seasons.

Coaching Eligibility & Selection:
Coaching staff will also be selected through a competitive application process, with applicants required to
coach in the Excellence Ringette Program during the 2025/2026 and 2026/2027 seasons.

Ringette BC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to manage our Team BC program for
the 2027 Canada Winter Games. This is a part-time contract position (2025-2027).
