Fraser Valley Ringette Association

Annual General Meeting:

Wednesday, April 4th, 2018

This AGM we have 7 out of our 15 positions available on the board. The following positions are up for election as per our bylaws:

  • President
  • Treasurer
  • Ice Scheduler
  • Director of Coaching
  • Director of Athlete Development
  • Director of Promotions
  • Director of Tournaments

We also have one position that will be up for election to fulfill the second year of it’s term. This position will be up for election again next year at the 2019 AGM:

  • Registrar

All positions hold a two-year term, with approximately half of the positions terms ending on even years, and the other half ending on odd years.

*NOTE* The first 30 families to sign in at the AGM will be receive a rebate reducing one family member’s team fees by $50 for the 2018/2019 season with FVRA.

Being on the FVRA Board is a great way to give back to the sport. It is also a great way to have insight and input into how our association is run. Our board is run by volunteer members who commit to one board meeting a month as well as the duties for their position as laid out in our FV Policy Manual.

Practice Schedule for September 2017

FVRA Members – Please accept your ePact invite ASAP.

Emailing to membership will be done through ePact. In order to receive emails from the association with important information, like evaluation schedule, evaluation letter, practice schedules, etc, you must accept your ePact invite and confirm your email address.

Also – This must be done before players step on the ice on September 5th, as it contains all their medical information, emergency contact information, Ringette BC waiver, and codes of conduct forms.
