Ringette is a Canadian-born sport, dating back to 1963 when Sam and Agnes Jacks introduced a new ice sport for girls using a rubber ring and a straight stick. Since that time, ringette has grown tremendously and is now played in every Province across Canada and internationally by girls, boys and adults.
