Annual Used Equipment Swap

For many years, Fraser Valley Ringette has had a Used Equipment Swap at Walnut Grove Sportsplex on our Registration night (Tuesday after Labour Day).  This year we have moved our Registration to the spring, but we are happy to annouce that we will still have the Used Equipment Swap At the Sportsplex on Tuesday September 7th, Starting at around 5:30.  September 7th will be the first ice time for most teams.

The Used Equipment Swap is a great place for new players (or growing players) to get some of their equipment for free from those who generously donate outgrown equipment.     If your child is new, or in need of some larger equipment, please check out the Used Equipment Swap.

If you have used equipment you have outgrown and would like to pass it on to younger players who could use it, please bring it to Jeaneen Briner at WG Sportsplex on September 7th.

 

Fraser Valley Ringette Exectutive - Vacant Positions

A couple of the positions left vacant from our 2010 AGM, have now been filled. 

We would like to welcome Michelle Linford who will be taking on the Secretary position, Laara Green will be our Treasurer  and Tami Nowotny has volunteered to be our Spirit of Winter Tournament Director.  Thank you. 

The President position on our executive remains vacant at this time.  We would really like to fill this position prior to the start of the season.  This year, with many new faces and ideas on our executive, it is really important that we have all our positions filled.  If you are interested in taking on the position of President,  please contact Mike Bellsmith mbellsmith@shaw.ca.

Please note a number of changes to registration for this season, including the Registration taking place in May as opposed to September.

Fraser Valley Ringette Association - Annual General Meeting

Our Annual General Meeting was held on April 12, 2010, with about 32 people in attendance.   A number of executive member have resigned their positions after many years of service to our association.  We would like to thank Theresa Leslie, Lisa Krenus, Mitch Schwartz, Debbie Schwartz, Fatima Olson for the years of volunteer service they have given to Fraser Valley Ringette.  We would also like thank the following people for taking positions and welcome them to the executive:
 
Director of Player Development  -  Jen Wakefeild
Co-Directors of Evaluations  - Shannon Anderson & Michelle Peters
Director of Promotions  -  Danelle Sestito
 
The positions of President, Secretary and Treasurer remain vacant after our AGM. We have some interest in the position of Secretary but  in order for our association to continue to run efficiently we need these positions filled as soon as possible.   Please email Mike Bellsmith mbellsmith@shaw.ca if you are interested in one of these positions.  Since the positions were not filled at the AGM, the executive can appoint interested candidates at their next Executive Meeting (Date to be determined).

Fraser Valley Ringette Annual Conditioning Camp 2010
